| In soccer you’re constantly adapting your manner of running to the situation, since the environment itself is constantly changing during the game. Players are sometimes required to make short sprints to find space, or run 40 or more yards to support the play. As such, running 2 or 3 miles during a training session in a certain time at the same speed can give you some baseline stamina, but it is not specific to the demands of the game. Our soccer-specific program works on the following aspects that regularly occur in a typical soccer game: | ||||||||

| Exercises are performed using a variety of equipment, including speed ladders, hurdles, plyometric boxes, jump ropes, speed rings, resistance harnesses and medicine balls. | ||||||||
