| Playing Career |

Alex
joined our Club in July 2007. He’s been involved in
organized soccer since 1969 playing under 6's in
Germany. He grew up playing youth and high school in the
United States. He then left for South America at age 17
and signed a professional contract with Club Sportivo
San Larenzo in the First Division (Asuncion, Paraguay).
In 1982 he was recognized as one of the first American
born players to play professional soccer outside the
United States. After a wonderful experience in Paraguay
Alex moved back to the United States and signed a
professional indoor contract in 1987 for Chicago
Shoccers, AISA.

Alex’
coaching experience is extensive. He as coached in the North
Texas area since 1986. He’s coached for FC Dallas Youth Club
formerly Dallas Inter Soccer Club and has been an NTSSA Olympic
Development State Team Coach, NTSSA Olympic Development Staff
Instructor and a USYSA Regional Staff Coach for over ten years.
In addition, Alex's educational background includes a Bachelors
of Science in Business Administration from University of Texas,
Dallas, a Masters of Liberal Arts & Organizational Management
from Southern Methodist University, and an Advanced Graduate
Certificate Dispute Resolution Mediation from Southern Methodist
University. He currently holds a USSF A License and an F.A.
Irish International License. |
