Guy joined the DFW Tornados in January of 2010.  He has been involved in soccer either as a player or coach since 1970. He grew up playing soccer in north Texas before club teams were established.

He began his coaching career in Garland, Texas. His experience covers youth recreational, as well as select and high school boys and girls. He was a director and coach with Arsenal Soccer Club for ten years as it grew to one of the largest clubs in north Texas. He spent 30 years as a varsity head coach at two of the most prominent high schools in Texas, Duncanville and Flower Mound. His teams were recognized in the National Top 20 regularly, and he won nearly 500 high school varsity games. He won the state championship while at Duncanville in 1986 and was named State, Regional and National Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 1992. He is one of the co-founders of the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches, and was recently named into their Hall of Honor. Guy served on several high ranking national committees while with the NSCAA and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with him to the DFW Tornados Soccer Club. Guy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of North Texas. He also holds a USSF “B” National license and an NSCAA National Diploma.
