| Playing Career |

Marcel joined the DFW Tornados in June 2006. He brings a rich soccer background to the Tornados formed on both sides of the Atlantic. His playing days included stints with three semiprofessional teams in England: Wembley FC, Southall FC and Willesdon Athletic. |
| Coaching Career |

Marcel coached semipro teams for Wembley and Northwood FC while in England. As a youth coach in the United States, he implemented an academy program for Henry County Soccer Association, one of the first clubs in Georgia to develop an academy program. Twelve of his girls are now playing in the Region premier league, and one girl was selected for the national pool. Four of his girls from Cobb Strikers graduated to play for Kennesaw State (Ga.), which won the NCAA Division II national championship in 2005. Marcel also served as assistant director of boys for the Tucker Youth Soccer Association in Georgia and for three years as coach of the U15 boys team for Cobb FC in Georgia. His U15 boys won Classic 1 in 2005, the Raleigh Championship 2005, Memphis Invitational Cup 2004 and the Jefferson Cup 2006 as well as winning Region 4 Premier league East 2005 and being semi finalist at Disney showcase in 2004 and 2005. Marcel improved his team’s national ranking from 156 to 28th in two years. He graduated from Southampton Institute with a BA with Honors degree in journalism. His soccer credentials include an International Coaches Association, speed, conditioning diploma, USSF “B” license and a UEFA “B”coaching badge. |
